There is amazing bug in Dota by using it you can get Axe (Mogul Kahn) in random. This is a great news for Axe lovers, you can get Axe by doing random just by performing few steps. Taking random hero gives you extra 200 gold which really matters in starting of the game. Don't miss to try out this cool stuff.....

Requirements:
• Be a Host Or Co-ordinate with host.
• -ah (anti-hack command)
• -ap (AllPick mode)

Steps:
• We already know that the countdown timer of creeps spawn starts from 2 minutes after the game mode selection.
• Type "-random" when the timer reaches 1 minute 47 seconds.
• Ask the host to type "-ah" command immediately at 1 minute and 42 seconds or type it yourself when you are host.
• You will get Axe =)

Don't be too late to type Anti-hack command because there is time limit for it.

The new Warcraft 1.24b Patch give some people problems when they failed to update using the Blizzard Offline Patch or they have great replay on different version. But fortunately, you can use Warcraft Version Switcher 1.24b to switch between versions ;)

I found it on some forums and want to share it to you guys, It's fun to do you can have runes at your base as much you want, you can see in the image above. It is pretty easy to do, Just follow the simple steps below in order to perform this glitch.

Requirements:

A leaver player.
An empty bottle.

Steps:

Put an empty bottle in the inventory of a player who has left.
Pick a rune using leaver player hero and don't use it!
Now immediately go back to base and use his circle of power to freeze his hero.
After 2 minutes or less the rune will be dropped at circle of power.
The rune will not disappear until you pick it.

Here is some explanation from the IceFrog Blog:

This update is a technology update only. While it has no new content, it is a required step that we have to take because it is not possible to update maps on Warcraft 3 after 1.24 patch due to the new code architecture.

I've rewritten most of DotA over the past 1-2 months to the new code base. If everything goes smoothly, this will enable updating to occur normally once again.

Because of the amount of new code in this patch, I recommend that tournaments wait at least a few days before adopting this version.

Patch 1.24b Warcraft TFT has just released together with Dota 6.62! This patch is also include the increase of map size limit on its notes, which is not included yet on Warcraft 1.24 Patch changelogs.

Hopefully, this is the last time Blizzard make massive changes on the custom map code. So, we don't have to wait several months just for compatibility issue. And here is the complete changelogs:

How to update into Patch 1.24b Warcraft
There are several ways, pick one of these:
1. Connect to the Battle.net and you will automatically updated.
2. Download the patch from Blizzard server and run the updater. (check the Update Warcraft 1.24b Patch Offline post)
3. Use the Warcraft Version Switcher 1.24b.

Please note that if you upgrade into this version, you won't be able to play with Dota 6.61c version and below. Enjoy the new patch! :)

I don't know wether you will take this as a good news or a bad one, but BuffMePlz has just made another update on his blogs. The bad news is, the Dota 6.61b AI v0.21 that he had planned to release this week is unfortunately got delayed :( But in the other side, he succeed made the AI map script to compliant with Patch 1.24 and above. Which is a really good news since many people got worried the Dota AI script will meet it's end after Blizzard released the new patch. Anyway, here is what he said on his blog:

Sorry folks, but there were many more game-breaking problems with my map than I had anticipated, and I haven't had a chance to fix them yet. I was hoping to address them before I went on vacation (a real vacation, as in I'm taking paid time off of work to relax), which I was unable to. I'm away from home now with limited internet access, and won't be back for another week or so, so I'll have to ask you all to be patient for a little while longer.

On the upside, I've finished most of the work needed to make the map 1.24 compliant (which took bloody forever), so that should hopefully address many people's concerns about the new patch. Also, I've been in contact with IceFrog and he has agreed to provide me with some official support, which should make future releases much quicker and easier to do in the future. Woohoo!

In the meantime, I'll have to ask you to wait a little longer. I'll see if I can get any work done on this while I'm on vacation...but I doubt it. =P

Well, be patience guys.. Personally, i'd prefer he work out on the future Dota 6.62 AI rather than Dota 6.61b AI. Beside, although it's not perfect, we already have Dota 6.61b Pre Alpha 4 ;)

How to use Auto Room Joiner
1) Select the full room which you want to enter.
2) press F12.. the auto trying starts then if you can enter then press F11!

Now all of your friends are playing Dota and you are practically left out. Eventually, you want to learn how to play dota as well. Being a beginner dota player is extremely difficult, there are a lot of dota heroes to choose from and also, you need to learn the items that comes with it. Plus, you need to master the skill sequence of your dota hero.

Play dota with the pRO’s. This way, you are going to learn fast. When you are a beginner dota player, ask your friends to let you choose your own dota hero. If you want to learn how to play dota, focus first on a single dota hero. This way, you will get the feel on how to play dota and catches up how to play the game.

Without further ado, here are the dota hero for beginners. There are a lot of best dota hero for beginners and here are the top 10.

1. Kardel Sharpeye

For dota beginners, Kardel Sharpeye gives you range on attacking your enemies through its skill Take Aim which could widen your skill up to 220. Another good skill is Scatter Shot for farming golds. One scatter shot could kill a bunch of creeps, thus earning you lots of gold and experience. Kardel’s special skill, Assassinate could kill a single hero in one shot. It deals 655 damage at 2500 range at its maximum level. Just make sure your timing is perfect to accomplish all of these.

Special Skill: Assassinate - Deals 655 damage at 2500 range, 1.5 seconds casting time. (Level 3)

2. Razor - The Lightning Revenant

One of the best dota hero for beginners is Razor. His skills are Unholy Fervor, Chain Lightning, Frenzy, and Storm Seeker. Razor is also a range hero. Just cast chain lightning whenever a hero comes to you. The cooldown of this skills is only 11 seconds which gives you a lot of advantage.

Primary: Agi
Special Skill: Storm Seeker - Summons a storm that permenantly follows Razor. Every 3.25 seconds, it strikes Razor’s enemies within 500 AoE with savage lightning bolts.

3. Lion - the Demon Witch

Lion is a great hero to disable your enemies with it’s Voodoo skill that transforms enemy into random critter, disabling special abilities. Also, the impale skill that not only deals damage with the enemy but stuns it, then combo it with Lion’s special skill Finger of Death that deals 850 damage at level 3. Beat that. The Mana drain for the enemy just makes you more powerful to prevent heroes casting their special skill on you.

Primary: INT
Special Skill: Finger of Death - Deals 850 damage at level 3

4. Luna Moonfang

Another best dota hero for beginners is Luna Moonfang which is also a range hero. The Moon Glaive’s skill is perfect for gold farming since it could hit 5 enemies with every attack at level 5.

Primary: Agi
Special Skill: Eclipse - Calls to the moon’s magic, summoning a concentrated burst of Lucent Beams (without ministun) to damage targets within 450 AoE around Luna. Damage is equal to Lucent Beam level.

5. Zeus - The Lord of Olympia

Zeus primary skill is int so it deals high damage on a distance. Zeus skills are more of inflicting damages to enemies at a low cool down rate. Therefore, you could span these skills to your enemies as long as you have mana. Tips is to say close to your allies and partner up with them to kill enemy units.

Primary: Int
Special Skill: Thundergod’s Wrath - Strike down all non-invisible enemy heroes with bolts of lightning.
Will reveal an area of around 500 AoE to all enemy heroes.

6. Traxex - The Drow Ranger

Traxex focus more on agi attribute as well as its skills such as True Shot to increase Traxex’s range and Marksmanship which increases agi up to +36. The two other skills, Silence and Frost Arrows are more of disabling your enemies. With these skills, it is best to partner up with your allies that deals with high damage. You will disable the enemies and leave the killing to your allies. Frost Arrows is one of the perfect skill to immobilize your dota hero enemies.

This hero is very very good in farming gold

Primary: Agi
Special Skill: Marksmanship (M) - The Ranger’s accuracy has increased, giving her more agility.

7. Bone Clinkz

This dota hero for beginners focus more on attack speed. It is a good hero to begin with because of its attack speed that ables you to farm more gold. But the Special skill of this hero would be a little too hard to beginners to kill a friendly unit, returning a percentage of its life to this dota hero.

Primary: Agi
Special Skill: Death Pact - Kills a target friendly unit, returning a percentage of its life.

8. Lina Inverse - The Slayer

Lina Inverse is one of the best dota hero for beginners. Lina’s primary attribute is int to allow you to deal a lot of damage to enemies. Because of its attack speed, it allows you to farm for more golds. Lina’s Ultmate skill which increases your attack speed for 50% is a good skill to cast whenever you are pushing a tower. Lina’s special skill could even deal up to 950 damage killing soft dota heroes. Equip this girl with a Refresher Orb and you will be beyond godlike!

The downside is, Lina could not be able to defend herself whenever two heroes gang up on you.

Special Skill: Laguna Blade - deals 950 damage

9. Bradwarden - The Centaur Warchief

The Centaur’s primary attribute is strength which gives you high hp and at the same time, you could deal a lot of damage to your enemies. This dota hero for beginners is really hard to kill because of it’s strength. Did I mention his special skill that adds + 36 to it’s strength? Only a few could survive this hero.

Because of this dota hero high survivability rate, it is one of the best hero for beginners. However, its skills are a little bit hard to master. Or because, you are a starter, you will probably be coward to stay close to your enemies.

Primary: Strength
Special Skill: Great Fortitude - Adds +36 Strength on level 3

10. King Leoric, The Skeleton King

The best thing about The Skeleton King is it’s special skill Reincarnation that allows you to return back to life immediately when you die which gives you a chance to go back at whoever kills you. The Skeleton King has high strength which gives you high survivability rate and able to tank. This is the best hero for beginners that wants to learn how to be a tank. However, it has a low attack speed but the damage it deals is totally awesome.

Special Skill: Reincarnation - When killed, this hero will come back to life at the cost some mana.

So it looks like the 1.24 situation is much more sticky than I realised. Given that, I think after I finish this testing phase I'll go ahead and post what I've got for everyone to take a swing at.

THIS MEANS IT WILL ONLY WORK ON 1.23 OR EARLIER. PLEASE DON'T E-MAIL ME SAYING THE MAP DOESN'T WORK ON 1.24. I KNOW IT DOESN'T.

This version is more or less a total compatibility overhaul of the script - I haven't had a chance to do many of the rewrites I wanted to, but at the very least most things should be working properly and should be somewhat adequate to allow people to play/practice new heroes/items/builds/whatever.

Because of this, some abilities will not be used properly (or at all) by the AI, but this will be addressed in future versions. The bots will, however, learn all of their abilities (or should). I haven't finished rewriting the levelling system but what's in place should be okay for now.

I've also disabled several game modes and commands until they can be made AI-compatible. Any game mode that requires voting or choosing outside of normal picking methods has been temporarily disabled until I have time to teach the script to play with these modes (-vr, -rv, -rd, -cd, -cm). I've also disabled league modes (-lm, -xl) because, really, who plays league matches with the AI map? The new -so mode has also been disabled.

The -afk and -kickafk commands are disabled, since you should never need them in an AI map, as well as -ah (maphacking against AI bots, really?). -switch is out also because there's no need with -so disabled.

I haven't had time to update the -fun content either, so for now it's been disabled. I will bring this back concurrently while updating the script.

I've modified -pa and -pe to work with the new Tavern system and location, so at least you'll still be able to pick heroes for your allies and for the AI. The item builds have been updated for compatibility ONLY, which means they'll still get the same old items as before. If people are still interested in contributing we might try reviving some threads in the OpenAI forums that address this.

There are also some -dm bugs that I can't quite figure out. I've disabled Dazzle in -dm (much like Meepo is disabled in -dm) because, inexplicably, the game crashes when Dazzle is picked during a deathmatch game. I think some other hero is causing the game to crash, but I can't figure out which (my guess is Huskar). It seems dependent on when heroes are picked and such, so after I post you guys can try to figure it out. =P

I've also renamed the map from "Dota Allstars 6.61b AI+ 1.52" to "DotA Allstars 6.61b AI v0.21". Why "v0.21"? Because it seemed like a good number at the time. =P After all the rewrites and compatibility changes, this is starting to look less and less like the AI we all know and love and more like something else, so I'll go ahead and declare this the beginning of a new stage of AI development. Yay.

Credits still go to cloud_str and RGB. Without their work and dedication this map would not be possible.

Warcraft 1.24b Patch is the upcoming patch for Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne. Blizzard is releasing this patch because the current 1.24 patch is not stable for custom maps. As of now, Blizzard has released Warcraft 1.24b Patch Beta for testing it on Westfall realm on Battle.net. On the other side, IceFrog (developer of DoTA) has started working on Dota 6.62 Beta to check it with Warcraft 1.24b

Warcraft 1.24b is patched on Battle.net Westfall Beta Server & IceFrog already started working on Dota 6.62 to make it work fine on 1.24b patch. He has also released Dota 6.62 Beta 9 map for testing. Points to be noted:

- MegaExp - connecting to 12 Garena servers for maximum EXP. These are all the garena servers, these servers are in the latest original garenahack private version. If you get low exp or nothing all all then that's it smile I cannot do more... for now.

- Opening Multiple Garena MegaEXP windows with the same account WON'T get you more EXP.

- if you see a password box when you start the program then try starting it again using: "_Start Garena with GarenaHack.exe"

- if MegaEXP hack don't work on a certain account then there's nothing we can do.

- Basic Members will start getting Experience after 30-45 Minutes whereas Gold Members will starting gaining Exp in 15-20 minutes.. Use this program at your own risk.

Dota 6.62 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.62 Beta Map Download. Ok, before you're getting excited, let me say a couple things. This map is another public beta and published on PlayDota. Dota 6.62 only has one purpose, to adjust with the new Warcraft 1.24 Patch. There should be no changes between Dota 6.61b and Dota 6.62. This version most likely has many broken abilities and functions right now. A huge amount of code has been at least partially rewritten for this patch. Various untested new functions in 1.24 are being used, anything can go wrong.

The first step is to have everyone here test in either single player or with a couple other people, test everything in the game and report which ones are broken.

There should be zero functional changes between 6.62 and 6.61b. If you aren't sure if something is bugged or not compare it with 6.61b.

The only concern for this version right now is to make sure the map code is functional. Do not use these subforums to report anything unless it is an issue that is unique for 6.62/1.24 or to use it as a suggestion forum. There are many potential issues so we need to keep things organized and focused on the task at hand.

The bugs aren't just limited to abilities. Items, commands, game modes, game behavior, rules, upgrades, timers, etc are all vulnerable to bugs.

After we pass Phase 1 of the testing (testing by yourself or with a group of people on westfall), we will then start to do regular 5v5 games to find what other bugs were missed. You can do these games now if you want as well, but we will formally start them after we have had extensive tests on the rest of the stuff first. There are many bugs that will only be easy to catch in multiplayer though, so you are encouraged to try and play with a few people at least.

- Did some temporary experimental changes to see how it affects the fatals and memory glitches that have been appearing. Keep an eye on these and report them. Report any fatals or permanently stuck visual effects you find.

Well, i think Blizzard is waiting until Dota 6.62 can be played without a bug in the new patch before release it. Here is another things that IceFrog said about reporting bug.

Before you report a bug, try to reproduce it. You should also compare it with 6.61b to make sure it is an issue that is unique to 6.62/1.24.
