Dota 6.62 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.62 Beta Map Download (Beta 9)

Dota 6.62 BetaDota 6.62 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.62 Beta Map Download. Ok, before you're getting excited, let me say a couple things. This map is another public beta and published on PlayDota. Dota 6.62 only has one purpose, to adjust with the new Warcraft 1.24 Patch. There should be no changes between Dota 6.61b and Dota 6.62. If you found something different, try to reproduce it and help IceFrog by reporting it.

Here is what IceFrog said about this map:
This version most likely has many broken abilities and functions right now. A huge amount of code has been at least partially rewritten for this patch. Various untested new functions in 1.24 are being used, anything can go wrong.

The first step is to have everyone here test in either single player or with a couple other people, test everything in the game and report which ones are broken.

There should be zero functional changes between 6.62 and 6.61b. If you aren't sure if something is bugged or not compare it with 6.61b.

The only concern for this version right now is to make sure the map code is functional. Do not use these subforums to report anything unless it is an issue that is unique for 6.62/1.24 or to use it as a suggestion forum. There are many potential issues so we need to keep things organized and focused on the task at hand.

The bugs aren't just limited to abilities. Items, commands, game modes, game behavior, rules, upgrades, timers, etc are all vulnerable to bugs.

After we pass Phase 1 of the testing (testing by yourself or with a group of people on westfall), we will then start to do regular 5v5 games to find what other bugs were missed. You can do these games now if you want as well, but we will formally start them after we have had extensive tests on the rest of the stuff first. There are many bugs that will only be easy to catch in multiplayer though, so you are encouraged to try and play with a few people at least.

Test 3:

- Fixed magic stick, essence aura, Curse of the Silent, Last word and all spell conditional abilities from not behaving properly. Now they should all follow the same rules as before.
- Fixed a large number of buffs from remaining stuck on you after you die with them on, like God Strength.
- Fixed invulnerable throne issue
- Did some temporary experimental changes to see how it affects the fatals and memory glitches that have been appearing. Keep an eye on these and report them. Report any fatals or permanently stuck visual effects you find.

You must play the above map with Warcraft 1.24 Patch. To get the new patch check this post.

Well, i think Blizzard is waiting until Dota 6.62 can be played without a bug in the new patch before release it. Here is another things that IceFrog said about reporting bug.

Before you report a bug, try to reproduce it. You should also compare it with 6.61b to make sure it is an issue that is unique to 6.62/1.24.

Dota 6.61 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.61 Beta Map

Dota 6.61 Beta 3 Map Changelogs:

* Fixed natural regeneration on rax
* Fixed Living Armor not regenerating structures properly
* Fixed incorrect sell value on some aghanim scepters
* Fixed Double Damage visual effect to properly show when the user is using low graphics mode
* Reduced Double Edge cooldown (25->12)
* Watchers now have collision. They also have 400 less vision range and give +40 more bounty.
- Various misc code fps stuff
- Undid Sil armor change
- Fixed Reverse Polarity, it properly places them infront of you now
* Fixed an error in the damage calculation method for Plasma Field
* Reduced FPS drops when using Shiva's Guard and Plasma Field with some custom import files (PGRu-Unexpect3D)
* Improved Faceless Void's base strength (17->23)
* Restored original cooldown improvement on Scepter for QoP

* Increased projectile speed on Mystic Snake

* Sven's Storm bolt now uses the normal unit targeting scheme. No gameplay changes, just the interface visuals.
* Fixed -ns mode
* Fixed Napalm not properly stacking and doing higher constant values [needs playtesting since it may be too useless now]
* Slightly increased Eyes in the Forest cast range (+25) to fix some order issue bugs [make sure u can't abuse it]
* Casting Nature's Guise on an allied unit will no longer take you out if if you have it on you
* Reverse Polarity now pulls units slightly infront of you instead of all around you
* Lowered Magic Stick/Wand cooldown from 25 to 17
* Added a new icon for Slardar's Bash (3587)

Well, i think Dota 6.61 will be focused on balances. But i still cannot see the Tauren Chieftain or Batrider changes in the changelogs, maybe it will be added on next beta map. Anyway, enjoy the new map!

In this Beta map, the shop layout is already updated as of IceFrog mention on his blog about Dota 6.60 New Items Layout. And an additional side shop is added. You can see it yourself on the pictures below..

Dota 6.60 Beta 54 Changes Summary (relatively to Dota 6.60 Beta 46)

ITEMS:
- New recipe shows (mentioned in IceFrog's blog) introduced
- Kadhgar's Pipe of Insight from Beta 45/46 renamed to Ghost Scepter. New icon.
- Kadhgar's Pipe of Insight is the name of a new item in the Supportive Vestments recipe shop. Upgraded version of Hood of Defiance. Has the "Barrier" active ability, blocks limited amount of magic damage (old Storm Spirit's ability).
- Quelling Blade damage bonus nerfed to +36%/12% from +40%/20%. Price nerfed to 250g (from 200g in Beta 46).
- The Leveler removed!
- Force Staff has a new icon.
- Ring of Protection has a new icon.
- Added Goblin Merchant Shop , Goblin Laboratory Shop, Replacing Goblin shop

HEROES:
- Batrider's Flambreak skill changed from AoE-targeting to Arrow-type-targeting. No longer has knockback!
- Batrider's first two skills' animations are much less flashy.
- Tauren Chieftain no longer "merges" with his Ancestral Spirit once it's near him. Now you can easily keep the Spirit active for its entire duration.
- Lina's passive Boost renamed to Fiery Soul.
SVEN:
- New passive, Warcry. Active AoE buff, all units around the Rogue Knight gain bonus armor and move speed. +8 armor and +10% MS at Level 4. Uses old God's Strength animation.
- New animation for God's Strength.
- Storm Bolt stuns and damages in an AoE (same as in older betas)

Dota 6.60 Beta 46 Map Download - Dota-Allstars 6.60 Beta 46

The previous Dota 6.60 Beta post comment is already reach more than 300 comment and become harder to read. So, i decided created this fresh new post so it would be easier to us to discuss the new beta map, Dota 6.60 beta 46 :)

In this Beta map, Tauren Chieftain already have complete skill set, there's massive changes on items and even more new items (WTF!). Check the post for pictures and changes.

Dota 6.60 Beta 45 Changes Summary (relatively to Dota 6.60 Beta 21)

Below is a compilation from redrach analysis about the changes and other feedback:

Heroes Changes

Huskar has been hugely buffed now with indefinitely stacking Burning Spears, and Aghanim's that increases damage done to enemy by his ultimate (65% of their HP) and a reduced cooldown (15 -> 8!!) Looks like Aghanim's is *the* item of choice on him now.

Razor has been remade to be less of a point-and-click hero. Chain lightning has been replaced by 'Plasma Field' - a huge AoE nuke that hits twice if you micro, and his ultimate is now an active that attacks one unit at random. I'm unsure what 'Static Link' does, but presumably his ultimate has been coded to attack the linked enemy in particular.
All-in-all he seems harder to play, but I'm unsure if he's stronger than his 6.59d counterpart. (He's definitely weaker than his imba 6.60 beta 21 version)

Medusa now has an AoE Purge for her ultimate ('Stony Gaze' - fits her theme better)! But it only works on enemies that attack her (or are facing her? Unsure.) Which means its useless while chasing. Bit of a nerf there. Chain Lightning has been replaced by 'Mystic Snake' which just seems to be a slower version of Chain Lightning. There must be more to it, but I can't tell.

Sniper's changes really disappoint me. Scattershot has been replaced by 'Shrapnel' - a 30% AoE slow that does 40 dps over 10 seconds at level 4. Unfortunately such a skill would only slightly boost Sniper's survivability, and the slow only affects units in the AoE to boot. Which means he's still gank fodder.
Also now he can no longer one-hit creep waves, making him more of a sucky farmer.
Aghanim's now reduces his ultimate's casting time and increases range.

Items Changes

- Pipe of Khandahar (1500g), item that allows you to activate 'Ghost Form', an ability that makes you invulnerable to attacks, makes you unable to attack, but lets you cast spells. Unsure if you take more damage from spells in Ghost Form, or if you're even targetable. Would make it a decrepify clone, except without the MS reduction.
- Talisman of Evasion (1800g), gives you 25% evasion.
- Monkey King Bar now has 'True Strike', a passive that ensures your attacks always hit (bypasses evasion). Which means it counters the above item.
(The two changes above severely hurt Mortred. Now any agility hero can cheaply (relative to Butterfly) obtain evasion, and also counter Mortred's evasion.)
- Quelling Blade (300g), cheap new item that gives +40% damage (20% for ranged) vs. non-hero units. Clearly an item meant to help melee heroes farm. Good starting item for Void, IMO.
- The Leveller, upgrade for Quelling Blade. Gives a lot of +stats (lots of +agi), plus 40% damage to non-hero units and 60% damage to buildings (20% and 30% for ranged). This relatively cheap item should help a lot of melee agility heroes contribute more to their team in pushes, as well as help them farm better. Prediction: Battlefury + Leveller will be the new in-thing for pubbers to get.
- Poor Man's Shield, upgrade for Stout Shield that gives 100% chance to reduce hero damage by 25. Seems like a completely useless item to me, esp. now that Vanguard has a 70% chance to block 40 damage from all sources (up from 65%), even though it's quite a bit cheaper than Vanguard.
- Manta Style is now an upgrade for Yasha (wtf). It has Illussion (actives), no longer give Feedback orb, and only gives +stats and bonus move and attack speed (wtf). Needless to say, this is a bizarre change.
- Diffusal Blade is now upgradable like Dagon! (Level 1 - +22 agi, +6 int, burns 20 mana, Level 2 - +36 agi, +10 int, burns 36 mana) Upgrading the recipe refills Purge charges (8). Now it's a strong item on its own.
- Sange and Yasha no longer needs a recipe, so it's 500g cheaper overall.
- Reduced Hammer cost by 10
- Rapier back to +250 damage
- Reduced Radiance Recipe cost
- Vanguard now gives 70% block

Maelstrom's recipe and stats have changed:
Mithril Hammer (1600g) + Gloves of Haste (500g) + Recipe (900g) = Maelstrom (3000g)
Grants +24 damage, +15 attack speed, and a 20% ctc 150 damage Chain Lightning.

Now the items reflect the theme (Mithril Hammer -> Hammer icon of Maelstrom) as well as synergize with the proc (more attack speed = more Chain Lightning procs)

Butterfly recipe changed:
Eaglehorn (3300g) + Quarterstaff (900g) + Talisman of Evasion (1800g) [No Recipe]

Other Changes
New System of messages when one takes a rune.
Completely revamped LR
Courier now has new skill , Return Home
Emphasis to farming , many tool-tips now have " Damage to non-hero units "
Undying's Tombstone AoE dropped a lot (for instance at 4 its 1200->1000).

Dota 6.60 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.60 Beta Map Leaked! ( Beta 21)

Dota 6.60 Beta At last, Dota 6.60 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.60 Beta Map is Leaked! Many thanks to BerLioS who sent me Dota 6.60 Beta Map (Beta 21). I will give you a peek about what's new on Dota 6.60 based on that map. Enjoy!

I know some people doesn't want to see the spoiler about the next map and even hate leaked map. But some people also desire and curious what will happen on Dota 6.60. So, to be fair, i give this spoiler warning before you go through and take a peek ^_^


Dota 6.60 Beta 21 Changelogs:
Replace all the heroes tavern into top left of the map
Now there's 9 tavern:
Sentinel Strength Tavern, Sentinel Agility Tavern, Sentinel Intelligence Tavern
Neutrals Strength Tavern, Neutrals Agility Tavern, Neutrals Intelligence Tavern
Scourge Strength Tavern, Scourge Agility Tavern, Scourge Intelligence Tavern
Neutrals Hero can be picked by either Scourge or Sentinel
Add Tauren Chieftain to Sentinel Strength Tavern
Add Bat Rider to Neutrals Intelligence Tavern
Hero remade on Razor and Viper
All Razor skill is remade, except for his Chain Lightning (will update this later)
Viper 2nd skill was remade, replace Frenzy with Nethertoxin (passive, give additional damage depends on enemy's health)

Dota 6.58 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.58 Beta Map Leaked! (Beta 38)

Dota 6.58 - Dota-Allstars 6.58 At last, Dota 6.58 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.58 Beta Map is Leaked! Thanks to Rizal who give me the Dota 6.58 Beta download link and various people trying and providing the changelogs. In this post i will compile it into single post. Enjoy!

Dota 6.58 Beta 33 Changelogs:
Blademail
Required Chainmail, Broadsword dan Robe the Magi
5 armor, 22 damage, 10 intelligent, Damage Return (active)

Cranium Basher: Required Javelin, Gauntlets of Stength dan Cranium Basher recipe
30 damage, 3 strength, Bash

Divine Rapier

Dirge the Undying remake
1st skill: Decay
Minus 4 str for 30 sec

2nd skill: Parasite
hooklike skill, fires a bug towards point, infests first enemy it touches, does dmg over time, and when the unit with the parasite dies, it jumps to another unit in range.

3rd skill: Tombstone
summons a tombstone that spawns zombies, max of 6 at lvl 4, the zombies seem to just keep comming till the time is up or the tombstone dies, but max of 6.

Ultimate: Flesh Golem
turns Dirge into a Flesh Golem, with a passive AoE plague.... dont know if it has the same effect as before, but any unit that dies under the effect of plague heal dirge like his old zombies did

Storm Spirit remake
Electric Vortex
-looks like it drags the character it is cast on to the casting point, which is a pretty short range from SS

Static Remant
-leaves a copy of him sitting in a spot, only one at a time. when a character approaches, it attacks them

Overload
-After any spell SS casts, he gets the same overload as last game (it looks like at least). No longer based on how many attacks you do.

Ball Lightning
-can warp anywhere in the map, essentially a blink whose mana is dependent upon how much you want to spend. Much quicker cast time than his last ulti. Does damage depend on how far you blink.

Rikimaru +2.2 agility, down from 2.9
Bloodseeker's Rupture cooldown reduced: 100 sec --> 70 sec
Silencer Curse of the Silent is now AoE
Drow's Markmanship Agility Increased(12/24/36->15/30/45)
Demon Edge cost change (2600->2400)
Buriza recipe cost change (1000->1200)
Necrolyte now has HeartStopper Aura, instead of Diffusion Aura.
BloodSeeker base Str buffed (18->23)
Doom cooldown buffed(180/150/120 -> 160/130/100)
Kunkka's GhostShip MS Bonus nerfed. (30% MS -> 15% MS)
Techies renamed to Squee spleen and spoon
Lion had his tint removed
Lion's Projectile changed to a Ram's head

Dota 6.58 Beta 34 Changelogs:
Change on how Tombstone zombie goes out. When an enemy nearby, a zombie will come out and attack him.

Dota 6.58 Beta 38 Changelogs:
-Heart of Tarrasque now gives 1% of your max HP per second instead of +15 HP/s.
-Avatar of Vengeance Terror skill has been replaced by Terror Wave, does the same thing except for that it is now in waveform instead of hitting everyone close to her.
-Color tint on Lion is back.

Dota 6.58 Beta - Storm Spirit Panda Remake Preview

IceFrog News At last, Dota 6.58 Beta legal information is out. This info is come from IceFrog directly so you don't have to worry that it's fake. The next hero to be changed on Dota-Allstars 6.58 is (like the title said), Storm Panda. Icefrog didn't release his changes yet, but he give several picture about his new skills. I guess he want to make us more excited ^_^

Dota Freak is showing us the new skill of Storm Spirit,

Skill 1 Static Remnant
creates an invisible immobile copy of storm spirit that deals damage when enemy touches. Reveals the fog of war 800 aoe around the copy.
70 manacost

skill 2 Electric fortex
Binds enemy with electricity, pulling it very slowly to storm but storm moves slow to. last maybe 2 seconds.
110 manacost(if im not mistaken)

skill 3 overload
Not sure about this but every time i cast spell, the overload triggers. It gives the aoe slow and extra damage.

Ultimate Ball Lightning
0 cooldown blink. Cut trees around storm as he land. Very mana consuming. with full mana he could blink through half of the map. 50 damage for every enemies that he passes through when using this.

I don't if it's true or not because i haven't received the map. But by looking in the pictures, it looks real. I hope you send me the Dota 6.58 beta map soon so i can confirm it :)
