Quest Guide for DotA 6.69 Map | DotA v6.69 Hidden Side Quest Solution

Hey Dota Addicts!, Dota 6.69 Secret, Hidden Quest Guide. As IceFrog already told us that there will be a new 6.69 hidden quest which will follow the tradition. Now, The DotA 6.69 is released with secret x.9 quest in which you have to destroy the runes, kill IceFrogs to summon Phoenix boss and then kill it. You'll get a nice reward item in return.

DotA 6.69 Quest Guide:

Destroy the Runes:
To start to side quest, You need destroy the PreRune and other 2 runes found in the map.

• PreRune can be found in the middle of the map near Top rune.

• Now, Destroy both Runes. First Rune can be found near Scourge top 2nd tower and second rune can be found near Sentinel bottom first tower.

• After Destroying all the runes, Find IceFrogs and kill them.

Note: Since, IceFrogs are invisible and can not be killed by physical attacks. You need to get Gem of True Sight and Dagon.

- Here is the mini-map of IceFrog so, you can find and kill em' easily!

• Once you kill all the 9-10 IceFrogs, Phoenix boss will appear in right corner on the bottom of the map.

Kill the Phoenix:
Kill the Phoenix using Naix with 6x inventory and with -wtf mode and enjoy a nice reward item which you grant you evasion and ability to spawn illusions.

Dota 6.68b Bug | Dota 6.68b Courier and Guardian Wisp Bug

Dota 6.68b Bug is keep coming out. After the Dota 6.68b release to fix the Major bug on Techies, lots of minor abuse found. As usual, it's Kuarinofu (our old friend that always give us the latest bug, trick & abuse) who manage to find it and pour it into some videos. Without much saying,check out the Dota 6.68b bugs below:



The above bug will let you give a permanent ms boost effect using the Guardian Wisp's Tether. Just pick him, cast tether on your friend and repick ^^



This bug is once again using Guardian Wisp's Tether. I don't know if this intended, but when you Tether your friend and activate your Armlet, your friend will get the health boost from Armlet which is kind of healing him. Justcheck out the video for more details.



Well, this bug is the coolest from those three. Using the new feature from the Courier, you can transfer your items from the Hero Circle into your chicken in the blink of eye :)

I smell Dota 6.68c coming out.. ^_^

Game Play and Cosmetics

* Added a new gold mechanic to the game

"Reliable Gold" - Any bounty you get from hero kills or from the extra "aoe kill gold" bonus (feature from few patches ago) is added to your Reliable Gold pool.

"Unreliable Gold" - It is everything else (creep kills, neutrals, etc).

Dying can only take away gold from your Unreliable Gold pool and not from your Reliable Gold. Buying items uses up your Unreliable Gold first before using your Reliable Gold.

An example: You have 910 total gold (500 Unreliable, 410 Reliable). If you buy Boots of Speed, you'll have 410 total gold left (0 Unreliable, 410 Reliable). However, if you bought Chainmail, you would have 360 Reliable Gold left.

The process is seamless to the user, you won't have to do anything extra to make it work. Your total gold is still displayed in the same place. Your Reliable Gold is displayed in your scoreboard title.



This is a new experimental idea that may be adjusted and tweaked over time depending on feedback and results after it is released. As always, let me know anything you want to see in future versions.

Buyback uses reliable gold first. There are some other plans and ideas for buyback adjustments in the future but I would like to see these changes stabilize first before considering further stuff. There may also be some other changes related to the aoe bounty in the future but I want to take it slow one step at a time and see how this change is reflected in games first.


* Support gold bounty gained for kills is now displayed ontop of each hero (not a change to bounty, but revealing the "extra" area bounty that was added a few patches ago, 16775)
* Minor adjustment (+50) to the extra aoe XP bounty
* Lane creeps vision from 1400/800 to 1100/800
* Day-Night now cycles at 25% faster rate
* The autozoom restore function in -zm is increased to give extra time to temporarily zoom in

* About Phoenix


I had mentioned a Phoenix hero was in the works in the past. I've decided to save the hero for another update instead of putting him in this one. I want to work on him more.

Dota 6.68 Bug | Infinite Goblin Techies Mines Bug

Dota 6.68 Bug has been found pretty fast. And moreover, the bug is game breaking and really easy to reproduce.



Goblin Techies Infinite Remote Mines Bug
1. Choose Goblin Techies as your hero.
2. Try to get level 6 as fast as you can.
3. Take Remote Mines (Techies' Ultimate Skill).
4. Put your Remote Mines.
5. Detonate it.
6. Kabooom! But look, your Remote Mines is still there, why don't you detonate it again? ;)
7. Profit!

Actually, i already expect bugs on Dota 6.68 since it contains many changes, but i never thought that the bug will be so easily found like this o_O

Aurel Vlaicu the Gyrocopter Guide, Strategy & Build. Aurel Vlaicu is a unique hero from Sentinel which has many active skills as an Agility hero. This post will provide you with the Gyrocopter Skill Description, the Gyrocopter Guide, the Gyrocopter Strategy, the Gyrocopter Item Build and the Gyrocopter Skill Build.



Raised amongst the dwarven mining clan, Aurel grew up with a fascination for making things explode. Such tendencies were considered healthy in the mining society as a dwarf's skill with explosives determined his pay, his rank and of course, his popularity amongst the females. Unlike the rest of the clan however, Aurel sought to use his skills for more than just blowing up rocks. By combining controlled detonations with thick metal to direct their force, Aurel is able to create everything from engines to missles. Excited to be able to put his inventions to the test, Aurel's presence on the battlefield promises to be a blast!

Rocket Barrage



Gyrocopter unleashes a massive salvo of rockets, striking random units in a 400 aoe. Fires 30 rockets over 3 seconds.

Damage per rocket: 10/12/14/16

Cooldown: 6.5
Manacost: 90

Note: The rockets can only hit units you have vision over.

This skill looks awesome, multiple rocket is launched from you. However, the damage is pretty small if you got many enemies around you. If you wanna kill enemy hero with this skill, make sure he is alone. Also a good skill for push/farm.

Homing Missile



The Gyrocopter launches a homing missile that will follow the target until it impacts. The missile is inactive for 3 seconds upon launch and then begins slowly accelerating towards the target. Stuns the target for 2.5 seconds and deals damage based on how much it traveled. The missle can be destroyed by 3 attacks from a hero or tower.

Maximum damage is dealt at 2000 distance traveled (does not increase beyond that distance)

Maximum Damage: 100/200/300/400
Stun Duration: 2.5

Cooldown: 20/18/16/14
Manacost: 120/130/140/150
Cast Range: 900

Note: Towers do half damage. Enemy has vision over the rocket once it starts moving.

Pretty tricky skill. Make sure you cast this from behind a forest so your target won't notice it until they got hit. The stun is always 2.5 seconds, but the damage is depends from how far the missile traveled.

Flak Cannon



The Gyrocopter enables all of its cannons, allowing its attacks to strike all enemies in a 800 aoe. Lasts for a limited number of attacks or 15 seconds. Does not work with illusions.

Your attack range is still limited to 375 range.

Manacost: 50
Cooldown: 20

Maybe this is the only skill that suggest Gyrocopter as a carry hero. You should take this only when you got enough already damage items. If you wanna be a full caster instead, skip this over stats.

Call Down



The Gyrocopter launches two missiles at the targeted area. The first missile strikes in 2 seconds, followed by the second missile at 4 seconds. Enemies in the area when a missile strikes are damaged and slowed.

Pretty neat ulti, maybe work well if you can hold the enemies with Black Hole or other skill so the enemies will got hit with the second missile.

Eredar the Shadow Demon Guide, Strategy & Build. Eredar is a help for the Intelligence heroes on the Scourge. This post will provide you with the Shadow Demon Skill Description, the Eredar Guide, the Shadow Demon Strategy, Eredar Item Build and Eredar the Shadow Demon Skill Build.



Long before the war of the Scourge and the Sentinel, an ancient demon named Eredar waged war on all creation. No champion of Light could match him, but he was betrayed and killed by his own underlings. However, the faintest sliver of his shadow survived; over the millenia Eredar regained a portion of his former being and grows stronger each day, but in a twist of fate his new form was that of a gnoll. Eredar's new form is not well suited to direct confrontation, but he knows a number of objurations and tricks to deal with his foes; his skills include banishment, poison, curses, and darker demonic arts.

Disruption



Eredar banishes the target to a dimensional pocket for 2.5 seconds, removing it from play for the duration. Upon return two images of the target are created under Eredar's control which last for 6 seconds.

Illusion Incoming Damage: 150%
Illusion Duration: 6 seconds

Cast Range: 700
Manacost: 75
Cooldown: 16

Note: Can target enemy, ally or self.

Useful skill for confuse the enemies, start a gank, avoid skill like Epicenter and some other stuff. Just treat it as Eul :)

Soul Catcher



Ererdar lays a curse on an area; one random enemy unit in the area is afflicted with the curse, causing it to take increased damage for 12 seconds.

Damage Amplification: 20/30/40/50%

AOE: 500
Cast Range: 600
Manacost: 50
Cooldown: 13

Similar to Chen Penitence, but with random target. If the enemy is alone, a sure hit is guaranteed. Cheap mana cost but a little useless if there's a lot of creeps.

Shadow Poison



Eredar casts forth a shadowy poison which deals 50 damage and afflicts all it touches for 10 seconds. If a unit is affected again in this duration, the toxin will be renewed and amplified exponentially. At the end of the duration, the shadow poison deals extra damage for each time it affected the victim. You have small vision over affected heroes.

Each stack increases the damage it would deal exponentially, up to 4 stacks.

Examples:
Level 1 Per stack: 20/40/80/160 + 50 each further stacks
Level 2 Per stack: 35/70/140/280 + 50 each further stacks
Level 3 Per stack: 50/100/200/400 + 50 each further stacks
Level 4 Per stack: 65/130/260/520 + 50 each further stacks

AOE: 150
Travel Distance: 1500

Cooldown: 3
Manacost: 50

Note: This has a sub ability to let you release the poison at any time.

This is what makes Eredar so scary. This skill is similar to Bristleback Quill Spray, it will stack the damage and you can released for instant damage. You can even stack the damage until 2000 if the enemy didn't know what happen with him.

Demonic Purge



Eredar casts a powerful demonic purge on a target enemy, removing all positive buffs. The purged target slowly regains its movement speed over 4 seconds. At the end of the purge the target takes damage.

Damage: 200/300/400

Cooldown: 50
Manacost: 200

Just a regular Purge but with damage at the end of duration. Nothing special here..

Io The Guardian Wisp Guide, Strategy & Build. Io is a Strength hero which belong to the Sentinel since Dota 6.68. This post will provide you with the Guardian Wisp Skill Description, the Guardian Wisp Guide, the Io Strategy, the Io Item Build and the Io The Guardian Wisp Skill Build.



Originally nothing more than a lowly spirit of the trees, Io dwelt peacefully amongst his kind in the Great Forest. As the Great War spread across the land the creatures of the forest were forced to defend their home. The desire to protect his kin awoke power in Io he had not known he possessed. He discovered he was able to connect his life force to another creature to strengthen them or help them flee by instantly transporting them out of harm. Io became known amongst his people asthe Guardian Wisp, a protector of the Spirits. All other spirits swore to assist him and can be summoned to his side to aid him in his battle. Uninterested in the battle betweenthe Sentinel and the Scourge, Io fights only to protect his people.

Tether



Io tethers himself to an allied unit, granting both units bonus movement speed. Any enemy units that contact the tether will be stunned. The tether will break if it stretches beyond 900 units. Lasts 12 seconds.

Movement Bonus: 20/25/30/35%
Stun Duration: 1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0

Cooldown: 12
Manacost: 40

If you try to tether a unit that is a outside its range (by up to 900) Io will latch on and pull himself closer to the unit.

Tether transfers other states on the hero to the allied unit. This includes Overcharge, Relocate and any time you regenerate hp/mp.

Note: Has a sub ability that lets you break the tether.

This skill is what makes Io such a scary supporter. Combine him with Ursa and say goodbye to your target. However, this skill won't do much if you don't wanna be a support hero.

Spirits



Io summons 5 ancient Spirits over the course of 6 seconds; the Spirits dance around Io in a circle to protect him. If an enemy hero moves close enough to touch a Spirit, the Spirit releases its life energy in a burst, damaging and slowing all enemies in a 300 area of effect. Non hero units only take minor damage upon touching a spirit and do not cause them to explode.

You have two sub abilities. One to move them outwards and one to call them back in. You can stop them at any distance by toggling the ability order.

Damage per Spirit: 25/50/75/100
Slow: 30%

Cooldown: 14
Manacost: 120/130/140/150

Overcharge



Io draws on more energy than he can safely handle, granting him bonus attack speed, but draining 2.5% of his current HP and MP per second. If Io is tethered to an ally the bonus attack speed is also granted to that ally.

This is a toggle ability.

Attack Speed: 60/80/100/120

Note: This bonus affects a tethered unit as well.

Another support skill which should be combined with Tether for maximum benefits.

Relocate



Io temporary relocates himself, along with any tethered hero, to the target location for 12 seconds.

There is a casting delay and the enemy has visual indicators on the minimap and the world of the teleport before it happens.

Cast Delay: 2.5/2.25/2.0
Cooldown: 80/60/40
Manacost: 100

Note: If an allied hero is Tethered, that hero will teleported along with you. You can break the tether at any time to prevent that hero from returning back with you. -disablehelp is available for this ability.

An instant gank skill. Tether Ursa or Sven, kill your enemy quickly and you going back to your place before. Need some coordination with your partner to maximize the gank. Also useful during line phase to refill Bottle and buy something in your base with ease.

Thrall the Far Seer Guide, Strategy and Build. Thrall is an addition to the Sentinel Intelligence heroes. Thrall the Far Seer is introduced on the Dota 6.68. This post will provide you with the Thrall Skill Description, the Thrall Guide, the Thrall Strategy, the Thrall Item Build and the Thrall Skill Build.



Being raised by humans as a gladiator, Thrall learned more about strategy and tactics as a youth than even experienced orcish warchiefs learned in their lives. After escaping from the human slavery and meeting Grom Hellscream, he found out that he was a descendant of the Frostwolf clan. He traveled to his ancestor's village, where he became familiar with the spiritual magics of the orcish shamans. Now he combines not only his control over thunder, but also his tactical abilities to turn fights in his favor using impenetrable walls of magic, areas of static energy and even control over time.

Thunder Strike



Thrall curses the target to be struck by thunder 3 times over 4 seconds. Foes nearby the victim will also be damaged.

Glimpse



Thrall forces the target back to it's previous position through a psionic rift. Sends the unit to where it was 4 seconds ago.

Cast Range: 600/1000/1400/1800

Cooldown: 60/50/40/30
Manacost: 160/130/100/70

Note: The glimpse effect has some travel time, the target isn't instantly moved back.

Kinetic Field



Thrall summons a circular barrier of kinetic energy, keeping enemies from walking in or out of it. The barrier has an aoe of 300.

Has a 1.2 second cast delay before the field is fully formed.

Duration: 2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds

Cooldown: 14
Cast Range: 900
Manacost: 70

Static Storm



Creates an area of electric instability which damages and silences enemies in the area. The effect starts off weak and then intensifies over 5 seconds, dealing increasing amounts of damage, before disappearing.

Final DPS: 170/210/250
AOE: 375
Manacost: 125/175/225
Cooldown: 60

Note: The damage starts off slow and ramps up continuously until it reaches the max

This map will surely contain new heroes, balancing & maybe some items because in the previous release we have seen a lots of changes but sometimes, changes cause imbalance in the gameplay which is very bad.

Dota 6.67b Bug | Magnus Skewer Bug

DoTA 6.67b Bug has been found. When IceFrog released DotA 6.67b map in a hurry as bug fix patch for 6.67. There was a clear chance of having bugs in that map. So, here is one of Dota 6.67b bug with Magnus, It's funny but it can ruin the game anytime, In the following video you will see how it works and what it does!

Update: IceFrog has released
DotA 6.67c to fix this bug.

Guide:

• Pick Mangnus & level up his 3rd ability, Skewer.
• Buy Kelen's Dagger & Scroll Of Town Portal (Boots of travel can be used too).
• Hold [Shift] and Teleport to a tower/unit, Select Dagger and left click on the ground. Now, instantly click Skewer and target yourself.
• Release shift.
• Magnus will rush to the allied Fountain.

Now, Here comes the game-breaking part, Magnus can also drag enemy units/heroes to his fountain, Check how it's performed in a Live game!





It looks like DotA 6.67c will be needed, We hope that IceFrog releases another bug fix patch soon!

This is one big update and good step by Blizzard fixing a lots of annoying hacks such as: Sheep Hack, Cooldown hack, Crash hack etc. You just need to upgrade to Warcraft Patch 1.24e soon if you want to get rid of these kinda hacks. Guide to Block spammers and Flammers in Warcraft3.Dota

Hey Dota Addicts!, This guide is posted for all Tired Dota/Warcraft 3 Players from flamers/abusers during game via chat, though this is not a new guide but most of us don't know this. so just follow simple steps and Block anyone whom you don't want to chat.

Guide to BLock someone in Chat in Warcraft 3/Dota:

Firstly it is important for you to remember the function of the following command.

The "/squelch" command that blocks someone's chat in Warcraft 3 (DotA) can be entered by using the syntax below:

/squelch (username)

Example:

• You want to block "Player".

- then you have to enter "/squelch "Player" in Warcraft III Chat menu by pressing [Enter] / [Shift+Enter].

- this command will shut the abuser's mouth ^^ "Player" and chat showing a message, "Ignoring chat from "player"

• However, If you feel Pitty about "Player" and Want to show his chat.

-Then all you need Just type "/unsqluelch Player" and hit enter.

- A message will be Echoed on the Screen, "Resuming chat from "Player" means, it will it not ignore his messages anymore.

If you want to use this command in DotA then you will need to follow more simple steps, Becouse this command will not work in DotA as it is.
The Reason behind this is:

In DotA the Hero name is added with the user's nickname.

for example, "Player (Silencer)".

so entering "/squelch" command with "Player" nickname, it doesn't work.

To make this command work, All you have to do is to enter Hide Hero Names command "-hhn".

This will remove Hero name from the user's nickname and make it only nickname.

Example: "Player"

So, now after entering "-hhn" command the hero names are gone so you can Follow the above steps to simply play cool and Silent game ^^

Tips/Things to Remember:

1. For coloured name you need to type the Whole color Syntax along with the nick name, for example:
If "Player" nick-name is Colored, then
"/squelch Player" is incorrect.
Instead of that you will need to enter this command: "/squelch .|c0000ff00Player" with color hex codes.
2.Another thing to remember is that the nick-names are Case-Sensitive that means The Nick-name should be entered as it Really is.
Example is the Nick name is "PlaYeR" then,
"/squelch Player" is incorrect.
Inplace of that you will need to enter this command: "/squelch PlaYeR".

* Fixed a major exploit recently discovered

* Recoded Bounty Hunter's wind walk damage bonus as to not require two seperate attacks to trigger his new passive

* Some Doombringer nerfs:

- Reduced base armor by 2
- Reduced base movement speed by 10
- Increased Scorched Earth cooldown from 60/50/40/30 to 60/55/50/45

* Readjusted the Divine Rapier pickup rules to prevent some abuses.

If the first time the item is lost from its original owner it is picked up by an allied hero, it becomes muted (no damage) until it returns to its owner. If an enemy acquires the rapier, it same rules as the previous version. Here are the complete rapier rules to clarify:
- "Original Rapier" has two modes, active and muted. It is active (bonus damage, droppable) when carried by the owner and muted (no damage, droppable) when carried by an ally
- "Free Rapier" is the item state that occurs when an enemy acquires it. This is a permanent transformation for the item. It will always provide bonusdamage and will always be undroppable, regardless of how it switches sides back and forth afterwards. This is the same as the previous patch.
Summary: The primary change that is done here is that a hero cannot intentionally pool the rapier to his ally.


* -unlock now requires a majority vote before the gold and items of a leaver will be released. As a reminder, once a hero is unlocked, it cannot be switched.

* Added a 15 second wait period before the drafting begins in -CD to give both teams a chance to look at the heroes.

* Renamed the controlon/off commands to be clearer which is which. They are now -disableselection (-ds) and -enableselection (-es)


* Various map optimizations
* Fixed an old recipe fusing exploit with leaver items that could result in crashes
* Fixed Essence Shift on units that change form
* Fixed a couple of bugs with Dark Pact debuff
* Added replay data for creep kills/denies (at time intervals,
format: "CSK"+I2S(PlayerID),value and "CSD"+I2S(PlayerID),value)
* Fixed various tooltips
* Fixed gold not being split after using -unlock when someone leaves via -kickafk
* Fixed being able to -unlock while a switch vote is ongoing

Slark the Murloc Nightcrawler Guide and Strategy. Dota 6.65 give us 2 new heroes, one of them is Murloc Nightcrawler, Slark. We already see the teaser video for him, but now we can know all of his skills. Let's go!

Murloc Nightcrawler Skills & Stats

Range: 128
Movement Speed: 305
Hero Type: Agility

Agility: 21 + 2.0
Strength: 21 + 1.0
Intelligence: 16 + 1.6




Dark Pact

Slark calls upon deities of the swamps to seal a dark pact. Sacrificing some of his lifeblood, Slark is redeemed of all negative effects. After 2 seconds, a dark wave of destruction emits from theNightcrawler, dealing damage to himself as well as all nearby enemies.

Damage: 75/150/225/300
AoE: 325
Manacost: 55/50/45/40
Cooldown: 10

Deals half the damage to you immediately as part of the cost.

Tips: This skill also can remove you from negative buffs.


Pounce

Surges directly forward and latches on to the first enemy he hits, binding it with chains of darkness. The enemy is unable to move more than 275 distance away from the point of impact for 3.5 seconds.

Pounce Range: 400/500/600/700
Pounce Damage: 50/75/100/125
Leash Range: 275
Leash Duration: 3.5

Cooldown: 16
Manacost: 75

Note: Moves forward in the direction it is looking, this is not a target position cast.

Tips: Pounce is working like Mirana's Leap. You will jump to direction you're facing. A successful Pounce will bind your enemy for 3.25 seconds. When theenemies binded, they cannot leave from the area. Mirana's Leap, Morphling Waveform and Blink will useless. If you're ganking with a stunner, maybe it's better to let him landed stun first and then when his stun is almost finish, quickly pounce him. It can be great tool for escaping too!


Essence Shift
Passive

Reciting ancient Nightcrawler incantations, Slark enchants his blade to steal the power and courage from his enemies. Every time Slark hits an enemy hero, he steals 1 point from all attributes and 1 additional from the main attribute of that enemy hero while Slark gains 4 points of Agility.

Duration: 15/30/45/60

Tips: You must note that even though you steal 1 all attribute + 1 main attribute from your enemy, you gain 4 agility and not 1 all attribute + 1 main attribute.


Shadow Dance

Has an active and a passive portion

Covers himself with a dark smoke, he becomes invisible and does not reveal himself while attacking or casting spells for 5.5 seconds.

Passively increases Nightcrawler's movement speed and regeneration when he is out of sight of hostile units. Has a 0.7 delay when activated or deactivated.

Movement Speed: 30/35/40%
Health Regeneration: 2/3/4%

Active duration: 5.5 seconds
Cooldown: 25
Manacost: 120

Tips: This skill can be used as healing mechanism. If your HP is low, find a hidden place and recovers. If you use Shadow Dance when attacking the enemy, your movement speed and regen bonus is working, except the enemies cast dust or have gem. This skill also can detect if there's observer or not. If you're on a place and your passive did not work even though all theenemies is on other place, you can be sure that somewhere near there an observer ward is placed :)

You will need this to survive the line until getting your Shadow Dance. After get your ultimate, you won't need any HP regen items.

Core Items
Town Portal Bracers Power Treads Magic Wand
Town Portal, Bracers, Strength Power Treads, Magic Wand, Diffusal/Sange Yasha/Desolator, Manta/BKB

Slark stats growth is really poor, especially his Strength. You will barely have only 1385 HP at level 25. Thats why you must get some HP items to avoid getting yourself killed before you have the chance to escape. Strength Power Treads and Bracers is enough to boost your survivability. Why not Vanguards? Many PPL recommend Vanguards, but i think it's a waste on him. You don't need the heals, you also not a tanking hero. Better spends those money on cheaper HP boost items like Bracers or even on Ogre Axe that can be used for BKB or Sange Yasha.

Now, which items you must buy? Diffusal, Sange Yasha or Desolator? Personally, i like to have Diffusal on him. His role as a ganker will benefits much from the Purge as well as the mana burn. With a stunner mate and purge, a kill is almost guaranteed. However, Sange Yasha is also not too shabby. The MS boost will gives you max speed (522) whenever nobody see you. Desolator is also good since you are stolen their agility and reduce the armor.

Why not Mask of Madness? Honestly, i think Mask of Madness is not fit him. It will make you receive more damage, and you're already fragile enough. The attack speed is welcomed, but i think it's more fitted with Darkterror or Barathrum. The ms boost also an overkill since with Yasha andShadow Dance you already get the max speed. BKB will be your main items if the enemies consist of nuker like Lion or Lina. One stun + Fingers from Lion will ensure a death to you. Of course you have Shadow Dance which allow you to attack when invisible. But a decent player will always have dust on their inventory if you become a threat to them. You don't have silence mechanism like Rikimaru's Smoke Screen, so i think BKB is a must.

Luxury Items


Butterfly will be your main luxury item, you will benefits from the agi boost and the evasion. Monkey King Bar is also a good choice if their carry is already get Butterfly. HoT will be your best items if you're being the main target. Even though the regen is somehow a waste compared to your ulti, HoT is still the best single HP boost item.

Justification

Ok, i think this will be a little debatable. Why maxed Dark Pact first instead of the others? At first glance, i think Dark Pact is a poor skill compared to Pounce or Essence Shift. But after trying him several times, Dark Pact is magnificent. It deals 300 damage at 325 AoE with only 40 mana at level 4! Of course it also hurt you, but with right timing, it wouldn't be a problem because of your crazy regen. Murloc is a pure ganker. And Dark Pact is his only nuke that will help him get a kill on a gank. Not to mention that it also help you farming.

Pounce is maxed next because it's your chasing and escaping skills. Why not maxed Essence Shift first? I found it rather useless to max this early. 1 level of it is enough, the stats steal and agi stats addition work really nice. 15 seconds is more than enough on mid early-mid game which usually consist a lot of ganking.

Murloc Nightcrawler Strategy
Early game, choose a side line, preferably with a stunner. Side line is a must since you will need the boots and build Power Treads a.s.a.p. Farm and try to get your ulti fast. However, if your laneenemies is lack of stunner, you can get a kill early. Getting first blood is easy if your Pounce successfully hit the enemy, of course with a decent backup.

Buy Magic Stick early if you got the money. It will help you to stay on the line and the fill your mana when needed. After get your Treads and ultimate, you can start ganking. Murloc is a nice ganker because he can get speed boost when changing line thank to his ulti. If you're confident with your skills, use Pounce to open a gank. If you don't feel you can't hit it, let your friend stun theenemies first before land your Pounce. The binding is too precious to let it miss. Use Shadow Dance only when you need it. It cost quite some mana, and if your Pounce hit, usually you won't need to use Shadow Dance.

On some case, you must use Shadow Dance, especially if your enemies is nuker like Lion. Remember, Pounce bind is not a stun. The enemies still can attack and use a spell on you. If your gank is failed and your HP is low, stay calm and walk into jungle/rune spot while regen. If you're getting ganked, use Pounce like a leap and immediately useShadow Dance. Usually the enemies won't be able to catch you up.

In a team battle, enter the battle last. Murloc is really fragile and easily get killed. Let your team open the wars and immediately focus on your team target (usually enemy carry) or chase the low HP hero.

Murloc Nightcrawler Summary

He is a nice hero that have great potential for ganking and anti-ward radar capabilites. His skills is synergies well. Even though he is really strong ganker, he also fragile and easily counterable with Gem/Dust. So, he is not that imbalance :)
