La función de guardar/cargar ha sido el único cambio notable de esta semana, sin embargo, además de eso en el directorio de Dota 2 ya se encuentran los íconos para el siguiente héroe que agregarán: N’aix, the lifestealer.



En el juego también ya se encuentra lo que sería el nuevo modelo del Witch Doctor para la próxima semana:

Con debates en curso en cuanto a quienes seran los del corte final para un IG combinado el anuncio fue hecho por la organización de esta tarde la presentación de los últimos cinco – son Zhou, YYF, 430, Chuan y Faith.
Ha sido una semana tensa para los seguidores de DotA la semana pasada, ya que estaban esperando a los tan anciados 5 por que antes de esto eran 10 y se dividia en 2 grupos IG.y  IG.z

La traducción que he estado haciendo yo durante muchas versiones (sin olvidarme de los antiguos propietarios y de la gente que me ha estado ayudando) ha pasado a ser un nuevo proyecto de grupo donde quien quiera y este dispuesto a ayudar es bienvenido!
La traducción continuara usando SVN y esperamos que haya gente dispuesta a ayudar para que esto valla para adelante y tengamos una traducci?n lo mas depurada y actualizada posible.

Con el boom que está teniendo Dota 2, un auspiciador veterano de la escena del DotA decide volver a la carga: SK-Gaming está auspiciando a monkey. Como muchos recordarán SK fue un legendario equipo de DotA allá por el 2008, con nombres de la talla de Loda, ARS-ART, Drayich o Tompa. Ahora han decidido tomar bajo su nombre a monkeybusiness, antes conocido como shift/nevo, que estuvo mostrando un rendimiento bastante positivo en los diversos torneos de Dota 2 que se han estado llevando a cabo.

Jian Carlos Morayra obtuvo la presea de oro en la versión continental World Cyber Games de Sao Paulo. Un ‘team’ peruano ganó la medalla de plata

 

La delegación peruana que participó en los Panamericanos World Cyber Games.

La competencia panamericana de los World Cyber Games, realizada en Sao Paulo, Brasil, le dio oro al peruano Jian Carlos Morayra y la medalla de plata a los integrantes del team Blood: Gianfranco Rosas, Orlando Calderón, Francis Yunis, Gianfranco Solari y Marco Elías.
Morayra se impuso en StarCraft2 tras vencer 2-1 a México, 2-1 a Brasil y 3-2 a Chile en una reñida final. El “gamer” nacional se hizo acreedor a un premio de mil dólares. De igual manera, el team Blood –que le ganó a Argentina, pero perdió ante Brasil- quedó segundo en Counter Strike y sus integrantes ganaron US$ 1.250.
La gran final mundial de esta competencia auspiciada se realizará del 8 al 11 de diciembre en la ciudad de Busán en Corea del Sur, lugar donde los “gamers” de las categorías: StartCraft, Counter Strike y FIFA 2011 disputarán el título con ciberdeportistas de más de 78 países.
La World Cyber Games (WCG) es el mayor campeonato de juegos electrónicos del mundo.

Entre otras correcciones y adiciones, la actualización de hoy supone otro paso adelante en cuanto a características para la comunidad. Hace un par de actualizaciones incorporamos un sistema de reportes y recomendaciones. Esto nos ha proporcionado una importante cantidad de datos acerca de cómo algunos jugadores benefician o perjudican la diversión de otros jugadores. Una de las cosas en la que nos hemos fijamos es que algunos jugadores reducen la diversión de otros mediante los canales de chat, sin embargo también reciben recomendaciones en otras partidas por ser buenos jugadores con los que aliarse o competir. Así que en esta actualización hemos añadido un sistema que detecta a los jugadores que, con toda claridad, reducen la diversión de otros específicamente mediante el chat de texto y de voz, restringiendo de forma temporal su capacidad para utilizar estos sistemas. Una vez que vuelvan a aportar cosas a la comunidad, podrán reactivar esta funcionalidad. Como siempre, estaremos especialmente atentos para comprobar si este cambio hace que Dota sea un lugar mejor para todos, y nos puedes enviar tus impresiones después de ver en acción estos cambios.

Acabamos de terminar nuestra primera expansión de capacidad de servidores de Dota 2 alrededor del mundo, y por ello vamos darle la importancia que se merece. Desde esta semana vamos a empezar a dar más juegos de Dota 2 de lo que viene siendo habitual. Para celebrarlo, vamos a publicar la primera parte del cómic oficial de Dota 2, Relatos de la Tienda Secreta.
Una vez que hayas leído la entrega de hoy, completa por favor la encuesta de Dota 2 en Steam para asegurarte una plaza en las invitaciones que están por venir (Si el enlace de arriba no funciona, haz click en “Steam” en el menú de la esquina superior izquierda de tu cliente de Steam y luego selecciona “Buscar Actualizaciones del Cliente de Steam…” para obtener la última versión de tu cliente de Steam). La información extra que la encuesta ofrece nos permitirá invitar a un amplio conjunto de jugadores con distinto hardware.
Algo que te podrá decir cualquier jugador es que Dota es un juego que se hace más divertido al jugarlo con amigos. Por ello, nos queremos asegurar que todo el mundo a quien invitemos pueda traer algunos amigos también – así que a todos los que reciban Dota 2 se les dará dos copias extra para que puedan regalarlas a quienes deseen. Encontrarás tus copias extra en la sección de Steam en el inventario de Steam de tu cuenta para que así puedas usar la herramienta de Intercambio de Steam y, de esta manera, dar las claves a tus amigos.
Una vez tengas Dota 2 instalado, permanece atento a este blog. ¡Los caballeros han llegado!

Además de Omniknight y Dragon Knight, en la actualización de hoy damos otro pasito en el proceso de abordar el problema de los jugadores que abandonan la partida repetidamente. Por primera vez, vamos a ir más allá de limitarnos a recabar información y vamos a pasar a la acción: a aquellos jugadores que sean identificados como personas que abandonan las partidas de forma constante, se les cambiará sus grupos de emparejamiento durante un tiempo. Y como viene siendo habitual, se han incluido cosas nuevas y se han solucionado algunos fallos.
También nos gustaría dar la bienvenida a los nuevos chicos que han recibido ayer las invitaciones para jugar a Dota 2. Si no has sido uno de los afortunados, te alegrará saber que vamos a ir enviando nuevas invitaciones cada pocos días.

Para concluir, nos gustaría hacer mención al Torneo de Dota 2 de la Dreamhack. Si tu equipo está por allí cerca, regístrate en cuanto antes ya que el número de plazas es limitado.

Valve has just finished first significant expansion of Dota 2 server capacity around the world, and that means it’s time to kick this thing up a notch. Starting this week, valve will be handing out Dota 2 in increasing volumes. 

To celebrate, valve has released the first part of the official Dota 2 comic, Tales from the Secret Shop.

Once you’ve read today’s part, make sure you fill out the Dota 2 Survey in Steam to secure your place in the upcoming invitations. (For detailed information on how to complete survey click here)

One thing everyone will tell you is that Dota is a game that’s more fun with friends. Everyone who receives Dota 2 will be given two extra copies that they can hand out to whomever they’d like. You’ll find your extra copies in the Steam section of your Steam account’s item inventory, and you can use the Steam Trading feature to give them to your friends.

Once you have Dota 2 installed, keep an eye on this blog. We update the game every Thursday with extra heroes, features, and bug fixes, and we’ll cover interesting elements of those updates right here.

How to answer the Dota 2 Survey
Steps on taking the Dota 2 beta survey.

Step 1 (Skip this if you already have a Steam account)
Download Steam and create a Steam account.

Step 2
Install and open Steam

Step 3
Update Steam (You must have the latest version of Steam in order to take the survey)


Step 4
Wait for the update.


Step 5
Restart Steam after the download finishes.


Step 6
Once your Steam has been updated, click on this: Dota 2 Survey.
*If the link above does not work, go to the Dota 2 Blog post and click Dota 2 survey.

Step 7
Click Next on everything that pops up.


Step 8
Answer the Dota 2 Experience Survey honestly.


Step 9
Wait for your brand new Dota 2 beta keys.
